Lesson two will allow the students to transfer their own life experiences into their own work of art utilizing tempera paint. A PowerPoint will explain a brief history lesson on Folk Art and Anna Mary Robertson, the students will be reminded of warm and cool colors once again. They will learn about foreground, background and tints and shading again to reinforce the terms. This time the students will start by sketching the basic outline for their paintings first. Then they will start the background landscape. After a brief recess the children will complete the masterpiece by adding in the foreground. A small pre-assessment and assessment will be given for this lesson.
